OAC Thanks You

Operation America Cares, a non-profit organization, collects, assembles and ships care packages to US troops serving overseas.  Every cent this organization collects goes directly to supplies and postage for shipment.   

We wrote notes on November 8 at our Rotary meeting thanking our troops for their service.  Our thank you notes were included in each of the boxes we packed. We then helped assemble care packages for Operation America Cares on Saturday, November 12 at start time of 9:00 am.  Our Rotary Club paid for the shipping of the150 boxes along with $200 worth of supplies. We also provided coffee and do-nuts for the packing party.  These funds came from our very successful Coeur de Cuisine. Thank you to Linda Millimaki for providing her home for this worthy cause.

I’d like to also thank the Rotarians that gave their Saturday morning to help pack boxes.
