Community Services Grant Presentation

Suzanne Southwell made a check presentation of $2,000 to Operation America Cares coordinator Linda Millimaki to pay for postage of 150 boxes of care packages to the troops. The Club had previously provided the funds to buy supplies for the packages. Today we are asked to write Thank You notes to our troops to be included in the boxes using the cards on our tables. These can be brought back to Gloria Tecca next week. Operation America Cares operates out of an Escondido garage for packing by volunteers. Rotary Clubs of Escondido will be packing November 12.
