General Meeting

The general meeting is 12:00 every Tuesday at The California Center for the Arts, 340 North Escondido Boulevard (map). Rotary is a volunteer organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary exists to improve communities through a range of humanitarian, intercultural and educational activities.

William Swank,  Baseball Historian

William "Bill" George Swank is the author or co-author of ten books and numerous articles primarily about baseball. The San Diego Historical Society identified him as "San Diego's preeminent baseball historian."

Marta Knight, DG visit

Marta has been a member of Chula Vista Sunrise Rotary for 15 years. She held many offices including Club President. She chaired Membership, International Service and Peace Committees. She has assisted and participated in Club Fundraisers and work projects.

Robin Douglas, “The Saga of Paul Gauguin"

In 2015, a Gauguin painting sold for $210 million. He influenced 20th Century artists with his psychological use of color, unique application of paint, and his personal purpose for creation.

Larry Hardin,  DEA Agent

Path of the Devil: Camino del Diablo is a true story covering a period of five years, 1991-1996.
