Irv Erdos is the humor columnist for the San Diego Union-Tribune.  He is the multiple recipient of the Best Column and Best Humor Writing awards from both the Society of Professional Journalists and the San Diego Press Club.

Irv has also offered his humor commentaries on radio and for ABC-TV and was invited to appear on the ABC-TV news program 20/20.

In addition to his writing career, Irv is a real estate broker specializing in residential sales throughout North County. 

He is a graduate of the City University of New York and holds a degree in marketing.

 Irv resides in Escondido with his wife Barbara.
