Christine Montan revealed the 2018 Sponsor flyer. The event is being rebranded with brighter colors and a renewed emphasis on bringing in sponsors from around the city. While we still want our members to help sponsor the event, everyone is encouraged to pick up the tri-fold and share it at their business, with friends, or with local businesses. Our purpose is two-fold: Generate more interest in our club (and hopefully new members from the community), and to raise more money for the amazing work we do.

thumb chorale1The Center Chorale presents “A Celtic Choral Celebration,” the first concert of the 2017/18 season for the North County choral ensemble.  Local Ashworth Academy of Highland Dance joins the Center Chorale in this concert. The Chorale will sing arrangements of Scottish and Irish tunes accompanied by pianist, Joseph Valent.  Bagpipes are an integral part of the Scottish traditions, and one of the members of the Center Chorale, Felicity Carroll, is an accomplished bagpiper, who will play on the program.  Megan Ashworth of the Ashworth Academy of Highland Dance will present highland dances accompanied by bagpiper Ross Naismith. President Rick Greenstein presented the Rotarian of the Month recognition to Mike Freet. Mike keeps so many parts of our club running, from Membership Service to the Escondido Rotary Foundation.

Joe took up the gauntlet in stepping into the role of Community Service Director, and handling marketing for the Rotary Foundation Seminar.  He is a great example of Service Above Self, and inspiration to all members of our Club.
