International Service: Monrovia School Project

Escondido Rotary Club has been participating in a Small Grant Project in Monrovia, Liberia. The $12,000 grant was the result of raising $6,000, which was matched by District 5340. Escondido Rotary Club contributed $3,000, which was possible because of Coeur De Cuisine. The project is to buy books, supplies, desks, chairs and a generator for a school being built in Monrovia. Construction began in October, and should be ready for occupation and learning in 2018. Good job Escondido Rotary club!
