Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Ceremony Nov 15, 2016

When you have eyes and boots on the ground in 200 countries, you are the go to guy for any number of issues: Earthquakes, flood or ebola. Time and again, Rotarians embrace opportunities through Rotary to join together to do together that which they are not able to do alone. This Rotary year is celebrating 100 years of The Rotary Foundation (TRF) which began with an initial contribution of $26.50.

Serious Service continues by Escondido Rotarians in our local & the international community. In fact, this rotary year alone, Escondido Rotarians have provided: $2840 PolioPlus, $4500 to Baker LA RC for flooding issues, and $6391 to the Annual Program Fund of Rotary International.

Rotarians giving to TRF is recognized for each $1000 donation of cash & points with a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF). We haven=t had a recognition ceremony since 2014 so we have a lot of catching up to recognize.

First PHF: Paul McNamara; Hank Rupp and Ericka Schwarm, gifts anonymously; Peter Sidoruk, a gift from Paul Van Elderen and Clay MacLeod, a gift from his wife our Rotarian Elizabeth Wohlford.
Second PHF: Al Foucar
Third PHF: Joel Beyer, Marilyn Lynch and Robert Reznichek
Fourth PHF: Bernie Blaney, Hank Freet, John Steele, Dan Sundquist, Frank Tecca and Johnny Watson
Fifth PHF: Chuck Aeling, Arlene Shuster, and Bob Schuster
Sixth PHF: Dick Daniels
7th PHF: Bill Smith and Gloria Tecca
Ninth PHF: Trudy Bronner

Some of our Rotarians MAKE an annual contribution of $1000. For this they are recognized as members of Paul Harris Society:
Chris Montan, Paul VanElderen and Tig Wohlford.

Some of our Rotarians are Major Donors which means they have contributed to TRF of $10,000 cash or more. Special Thanks for your example service and generosity:
Christine Montan, Tom & Mary Tomlinson, Tig Wohlford, Jill & Jack Campbell and Mary & Frank Geerdes.

And many of our Rotarians are already PHF. But, as you can see it is an ongoing process throughout your Rotary Service.
