The Rotary Club of Escondido Centennial

As part of the 20th anniversary Coeur de Cuisine event, the Rotary Club of Escondido proudly kicks off its Centennial year celebrations.

The Rotary Club of Escondido is part of Rotary International, a confederation of more than 1.4 million members in more than 46,000 clubs worldwide whose objectives are to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through a fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Chartered on October 20, 1924, the Club proudly points to a century living up to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”  Since its inception, Rotary Club of Escondido members consist of community and business leaders of North County San Diego. Our members also draw from countless elected, appointed, and volunteer civic, private, and philanthropic organizations and activities.

Coeur de Cuisine stands among our long history of fundraising events that consistently generate support for the Rotary initiatives. Youth service is a cornerstone of our commitment, exemplified by our annual college scholarship grant program that empowers high school seniors to pursue higher education. We also provide grants for nonprofit organizations and collaborate with Rotary clubs worldwide on international humanitarian projects. Escondido Rotarians also actively volunteer their time and expertise, providing essential services in our community.

We are proud to be one of the largest Rotary Clubs in Rotary’s San Diego County-Imperial County district, and PROUD TO HAVE CONTRIBUTED 100 YEARS OF ROTARY SERVICE!
