Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self has been channeled through the Avenues of Service, which form the foundations of Escondido Rotary Club's activity.

International Service focuses on the fourth component of the Object of Rotary by advancing international understanding, goodwill and peace through the world fellowship of business and professional persons united under the Rotary ideal of service. Examples of committees include the club liaison to the Rotary Foundation (TRF) and its Annual Programs Fund, Permanent Fund, World Community Service; Peace, Education and Fellowship programs.
